DUNE: PART TWO

VAN CRAWFORD’S IMPACT

As a fun way to promote the incredible film, DUNE: PART TWO, we partnered with Houston 2024 Cactus Jack HBCU Classic in Houston to host 3 events as well as having prominent branding displayed across the stadium throughout the weekend. Working as a lead/liaison between Warner Bros. and the Cactus Jack HBCU Classic team was an amazing experience. Warner Bros treated this film with lots of care & thoughtfulness as it is part of a popular franchise. I worked closely with Warner Bros’ Creative team to ensure all of the branding (printed signage, broadcast, & social) was exactly how they wanted & helped move the needle with grabbing guests’ attention. While I was on the ground in Houston making sure all of the events & branding was up to standard, I was able to connect with a number of press, influencers, community leaders, & more so we can have more exposure in that area, as it’s a huge AA market.

In addition, with the recent restructuring of the field office & how we work with them, developing our own community/promotional partners has been important to our client’s success. Leveraging Fandango codes to work with local grassroots organizations such as Black Girl in Media, Voices of Power (org. in Houston for special needs children), Culture Creators, New York Hampton Alumni Club, & more has been one of the keys to this success. I’ve been extremely pleased with how we’ve been able to maintain our regional promotions and really be able to make all of these unique & diverse groups feel invested in our titles’ success. During this campaign, we were able to execute some really fun social ticket giveaways & especially with the excitement behind Zendaya’s character, we were able to build a lot of buzz on social.
